The Compass Rose Health and Wellness Centre Celebrates Grand Opening
We would like to invite you to come and celebrate the grand opening of our new health and wellness centre on September 22, 2015. We have invited the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT) which – as some of you may know – shares our location as their head office to be part of our opening because they now have a physical presence in our community for conducting the business of the college at our centre.
The Honourable Leo Glavine, Minister of Health and Wellness will be our honoured guest. There will be a key note address on the topic of the Role of Counselling Therapists in Emotional and Mental Health Services delivered by Linda Wheeldon, Chair of the NSCCT.
We are excited about the opportunity to celebrate the accomplishment of opening the centre and will be giving away door prizes and offering tours. Some of our professional members as well as NSCCT will be staffing tables describing their services including hypnotherapy, acupuncture, and massage therapy.
Come see the glowing bubble tubes and fibre optics – among other things – in Atlantic Canada’s largest sensory treatment room. If you have not already tried floating (AKA float therapy or REST – Reduced Environmental Stimulation Treatment) then come and see our four float pods and talk to those people who have experienced this wonderful way to relax, reduce pain, meditate and “melt.” There will be a free draw for a three-float package as a door prize.
Schedule of events:
- 3 pm welcome and tours – appetizers offered
- 4 pm keynote address – Linda Wheeldon, Chair – NSCCT
- 4:20 pm greetings from special guests
- 4:30 pm ribbon cutting – Honourable Leo Glavine, Min. of Health and Wellness
- 4:45 pm cake cutting
- 5-6 pm reception, tours and information
We hope you will all makes this a priority to come and celebrate with us. Please RSVP to (902) 346-2158 or firstname.lastname@example.org as this will aid our planning for the anticipated crowd. You can find us at Suite 200 36 Brookshire Court Bedford, NS which is in the same building as the Credit Union across from Bedford Academy – just off Hammond’s Plains Road at Exit 3 off the Highway 102.
